Study Title:
Determining the factors leading those with suspected/confirmed endometriosis to seek out-of-country care.
TENC is proud to have partnered with the University of Ottawa for this important research!
This study involves completing an anonymous survey to explore why individuals with suspected or confirmed endometriosis have ever considered or have received care or sought out information on endometriosis care outside of Canada. For those who have obtained care outside of Canada, the study also aims to explore the costs and experiences of their care journey.
By understanding the factors that influence access to endometriosis care, this study hopes to improve patient care in the future.
Eligibility:
- If you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who has Canadian Provincial health insurance (e.g., OHIP, RAMQ, etc.).
- Report to have suspected or confirmed endometriosis.
- Age 18+ years.
- Have considered or obtained endometriosis care outside of Canada at any time.
