Iona is an actor, writer, historical interpreter/educator and hobby nutritionist. She believes strongly in better education. Education about endometriosis as part of the Sex Ed Curriculum in grade school, deeper studies about endometriosis in med school as well as in the medical field in general are exponentially of the utmost importance. She emphasizes that “the lack of education is what leads to misconceptions of what is “normal”. When your body, heart and spirit tell you something is wrong yet your brain and the world are telling you the opposite, this leads to profound disconnect within your being.”
